เครื่องมือชนิดนี้เป็นเครื่องวัดความเข้มข้นในของเหลวทุกชนิด  ทำงานแบบต่อเนื่อง สามารถประมวลผล  อ่านค่า และควบคุมเปอร์เซนต์ โซลิต (%solids) โดยใช้รูปแบบการสื่อสารในระบบEtherNet  ซึ่งสามารถติดตั้งตัวเซ็นเซอร์ไว้ในจุดที่จะทำการตรวจวัด หรือทดสอบ  และทำงานผ่านหน้าจอคอมพิวเตอร์ที่เชื่อมเข้ากับ network ภายในองค์กรเพื่อสะดวจในการติดตามผล หรือควบคุมจากทุกที่ใน network ขององค์กรนั้นๆ

The fully computerized LSC 326 Inline Refractometer is a two-piece optical/electronic measurement instrument. Our design employs the "I.R. Detection System" which provides Infinite Resolution while eliminating drift. At the interface, light is reflected and refracted off the process, at different angles, depending on the refractive index (option density) of the process fluid. This technique continuously measures the concentration of the process stream and is commonly displayed in terms such as Brix, Refractive Index, %solids, Etc.
