เครื่องมือวัดความหนาแน่น Bulk Density Apparatus (ASTM D1895)

อุปกรณ์ที่ใช้ในการวัดความหนาแน่นของวัสดุประเภท ผง เม็ด เกร็ด เพื่อดู Pourability ของวัสดุเมื่อนำไปใช้งานจริง ซึ่งมีให้เลือกตามขนาด ความละเอียดของวัสดุดังนี้

ASTM D1895 Method A

• Primarily used to measure the apparent density of fine granules
• Cup volume is 100cm3

ASTM D1895 Method B

• Primarily used to measure the apparent density of larger coarse granular materials, dice or pellets (that cannot be poured readily through the method A funnel).
• Cup volume is 400cm3

ASTM D1895 Method C

• Primarily for course flakes, strands, chips and cut fibres.
• Note that a measure under a small compression load is very useful.
• Measuring cylinder of 1000 cm3 is supplied along with a scaled weight plunger

ISO Method R60

• Primarily used to measure the apparent density of moulding material
• Cup volume is 100cm3
