This handheld moisture sensor is a pure dielectric RF moisture gauge, using enhanced phase lock referencing on the generated frequency to measure shift in resonant frequency due solely to change in moisture throughout the sampling volume. The measurement is not influenced by ionic strength.

Operation is simple. using a touch membrane with 7-keys. The user selects function required and push up-down key to edit calibration variables. This handheld RF moisture sensor is robust IP65 / Nema 4 enclosure and its extended battery life promote longevity and practically with up to 6 hours of use between charges. The USB interface is provided for download of stored measurements
