Sealed bottles Leak testing

Non-destructive pressure decay testing of sealed pharmaceutical bottles
A pharmaceutical company needed a way to non-destructively test sealed pharmaceutical bottles of varying sizes that contain liquid product.

The TME Solution™ Chamber Leak test system was designed to test the seal on two sizes of pharmaceutical bottles containing a liquid.

The TME Solution-C chamber leak tester is designed to detect air leakage when a differential pressure is created on the test part inside a closed chamber. The test fixture is composed of a chamber that uses pressure to create a differential pressure on the bottle and detect leakage from the test chamber into the test part. If air from the chamber enters the bottle, a drop in chamber pressure will indicate a leakage into the test part. The Solution-C leak tester detects this movement of air (“pressure decay”), thus indicating a leak.
